Perhaps this is due to you not using your brain, reason and logic as much as you should and relying upon "intuition"?

The point being made, which I found elementary and which we have been trying to impress upon you is that the CONTEXT of the passage in question focuses upon the resurrection of Christ and not the extent of the atonement. The resurrection is one of those "facets" I mentioned. And the extent, efficacy, sufficiency, etc., of the atonement are also "facets" in their own right which we find elsewhere.... but not in this passage. Eisogesis is a danger to be avoided as it is a pit too easy to fall into.

Although the infamous "Five Points of Calvinism" are surely biblical and defensible, they are but a small part of the whole counsel of God.
